Introduction to Theme Settings

Theme settings are your store's general settings, which make global adjustments affecting your entire storefront.

Colors

Under your Colors settings, you have the option to select each color for the different elements of your storefront, including the text and content of the headers, borders, badges, background, and accents.

Typography

In your Typography settings, you can change the font, size, capitalization, and format of your storefront's text.

If the fonts that you wish to use are not available in the drop-down menu, you can follow our how-to guide on uploading your own custom fonts.

Cart

The Cart setting gives the option to change your cart to either a drawer, page or 'fixed' cart, enable dynamic checkout buttons and customer notes in the cart, and control your free shipping encouragement.

Products

Under Products, you can edit how your theme settings display products across your storefront.

This includes displaying sale prices and badges, showing local pickup availability, choosing how your product images behave when reacting with a customer's cursor, and choosing the position of the 'quick add' button.

The settings under Product grids only apply to products that are shown in grid format, such as in a Product recommendations section.

Social Media

Under Social media, you have the option to link up your social media accounts.

These settings must be in place before social media icons can be enabled within your announcement bar and footer.

Within your product page settings, you also have the option to enable share buttons on your product pages, so that your customers can share your products on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Favicon

A Favicon is a small image that resides in your browser’s tabs (and often bookmark lists), allowing you to identify the page - and the brand that it represents - at a glance.

Popup

By enabling a Popup, you can directly and powerfully communicate marketing messages to your customers, advertise your social media networks, and encourage guests to subscribe to your mailing list.

‌This popup appears at the bottom of the page upon entering the site, and the customer must interact with it in order to close it.

Verification Popup

By enabling a Verification Popup, you can ensure that customers verify their age before accessing your storefront. This can be great for stores selling products with age restrictions or health-and-safety warnings.

You can personalize a Yes/No question for your customers - if the customer answers Yes, then they're directed to your storefront.  If the customer answers No, then you can personalize a response for them using the theme settings, as shown below.

‌This popup appears at the center of the page upon entering the site, and the customer must answer 'Yes' or 'No' to continue.

You can also dictate what the search includes, and choose to display the vendor and price within the search results.

Checkout

Under Checkout, you can edit the appearance of your checkout page and ensure that the final steps of your customer's transaction are as intuitive and enticing as possible.

Settings include adding a background image for your banner, order summary, and main content area, adding a logo, and editing the typography and colors.

Theme Styles

Within Theme Styles, you can choose to change your theme of one of Fresh's other styles, including Sweet, Smooth, and Sharp. Some settings will be lost when you change your style, but you will not lose any content from your store.
